I had my appointment at Feminist's three weeks ago...

I had my appointment at Feminist's three weeks ago. I have been trying to conceive for three years, and the pregnancy befor this one ended in miscarriage. Needless to say when my OB diagnosed my baby with a rare and fatal fetal anomaly I was crushed. Everyone there was so kind. They had a separate waiting room for moms who were terminating due to fetal anomalies and offered cremation services. The day of my procedure was very hard on me emotionally. After it was said and done I had complications immediately afterwards due to a preexisting condition that was previously unknown, not because of anything they did. They had me come right back for treatment even though they had closed for the day. While there, the nurse who triaged me for my surgery, Crista, was the nurse in charge of monitoring my condition. She talked to me and made me feel better and when I told her the heating pad did more for the pain than the meds, she gave me one she purchased with her own money. When I was discharged, I became really depressed. Crista called me a few times afterwards, I missed the first calls but finally picked up. She said she was just following up with me, and I told her physically I wad fine but I was so sad. She asked if I had utilized the grief resources they gave me away my appointment. I informed her that I hadn't been able to get in touch with them. When she found out this, she called me after hours and had gone out of her way tho find a support group that helped so much. I don't know if I would've been ok without her help. She is an angel here on earth and I'm so thankful she was there to see me through.
