Uppsala central station may well be the station with the worst floor plan in Sweden. The platforms are extremely long and you can only walk on the platforms at each one. This contributes to the crowds being formed at the ends of the trains and that it can be difficult to catch a certain bus, for example, since most of the buses with the same route depart at the same time and not scheduled with the trains (from Stockholm). A much better and necessary solution is if the aisles would be built so that you can step off and on the platforms in the middle. Unfortunately, Uppsala station is currently built as an obstacle course!
