The water park and it s size and the money you spend on it (for season pass) is 4 stars. The customer service is a 2 or 2.5 stars, giving the overall place a 3 star rating. The park will close if the attendants is low! They will give a rain check but that doesn t help someone who takes off work and has to drive an hour to get there. I was there when they did. I talked to a staff member who admitted to me it was because of attendance. The official reason was bad weather was coming in. That may have worked 10 or 15 years ago, but most people have smart phones and problems half have a weather app. There was no bad weather for 200 miles!
Rules aren t always clear for each area. For example at the wave pool they whistle at you if you go out too far (how far is too far - don t know because it s not posted! Why not paint a red line on the walls with a sign or use a suspended rope with flags/sign?). Or, if you hang onto the wall in the wave pool they whistle- no sign.
