At Pure Rock studios, I started off with a free trial lesson. I quickly found that I enjoyed the more casual atmosphere at the studio. Instead of the 30+ students competing for the instructor's attentions, such as in school, or the strict task master standing over a shoulder criticizing all progress until it felt like no progress, such as in the private lessons I'd taken previously, the knowledgeable, competent instructors at PRS were helpful, not overly critical, and not distracted.

In their one-on-one lesson format, the instructors guide and advise professionally, but they leave it up to their students as to where they want to go. I would recommend PRS to ANY student of ANY age, as I find their methodology not only effective, but the results I've gotten from my lessons are unparalled.
