We saw Sweeny Todd, which I was originally skeptical about given its rather macabre theme. It was presented superbly with perfect excecution. The diction of the thespians was crystal clear even with the heavy affected British accents, the singing and the punch-lines very much on key. The production kept the audience on their toes without a single dull moment. This plebian often year's for the sweet relief of intermission. Such emotions were never even contemplated!
