WOW! Loved this place! What a gem of a campground!...

WOW! Loved this place! What a gem of a campground! We had site 1 on Horse Island and it was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights at the campground and the showers/bathrooms where really clean. The park was really quiet at night and the park rangers often drove by to make sure everyone was having a safe and great time but did not intrude on your privacy, the staff was really friendly. Lake side camping at its best! We canoed, hiked, biked and swam and we still didn't get it all done. The beach area was really clean and the water crystal clear. If you stay at site 1 on Horse Island be aware that a friendly skunk comes out to the site every night around 9am. We named him Stuwey the skunk! Ducks and turkeys also came to the site. The town close to the park had everything we needed; Dunkin Donuts, Grocery store, gas station, ice-cream and a place that makes great subs if you don't want to cook at the site. I have already booked our site for next year. I cant wait!!
