Granted, the staff was friendly. Turns out, that is the only positive thing from the hospital.

I took my dog in through the E.R. after getting ran over. I understand the restrictions due to Covid-19, so we weren't allowed in the hospital, that's fine.

There is a major lack of communication, between departments, patients, and anyone else. As I was waiting outside, they ended walking up to me while is was in my truck and they stated they called, but yet no record of it on my phone. On top of that, they were trying to "sell" a surgery on my dog that she didn't need.

So basically, in the beginning, they stated my dog had all sorts of issues and highly recommended surgery. They couldn't give me a price and was recommending over night stay. The whole time they were not able to tell me how much anything was going to be. Just an estimate. On top of that, they were asking for payment upfront and full before proceeding. So I was easily getting frustrated because not only I was thinking I would have cough up at least $3,000.00, but I couldn't get an exact figure.

In the meantime, I know my dog was inside, scared. It wasn't till I demanded my dog in the very end and told them I will be taking her to a specialist the very next day, they were able to give my a solid price for what they did.

The next day at the specialist's office, he told me the exact opposite of what the hospital was telling me. He says it a good thing that she did not get surgery as it can do a lot more damage for years to come.

Even if I had no choice on where to take my pet for medical care, I will never bring them back to this hospital, ever.
