Having suffered at the hands of our local NHS Trust, we know for certain that the Marsden offers the finest level of care you will find anywhere. Its not just the surgical and medical skills, its the empathy of each and every member of staff we have met there over the past year. Its the little things that don't actually cost anything - like the Nurse who just bothers to lay a hand on your arm and ask how you are doing today, the guy taking the meals round who bothers to remember you like strawberry yoghurt, the surgeon you meet in the corridor who isn't too high and mighty to open the door for you or the receptionist who gently advises a sit down and a cup of tea. Its an awkward old fashioned building that must often be difficult for staff to work in, but they do it and they do it with skill, kindness, compassion and efficiency. There are not enough words to thank each and every one of them.
