During my time in the hospital as a patient. I overheard various conversations and comments from the nurses. Especially sine they were pretty loud and 5 ft from my room with their door wide open. In the beginning of my stay one nurse constantly gossiped about another named Kristen. She said a various amount of times "Kristen thinks she can tell everyone what to do." "I don't really like Kristen." It took me by surprise from how unprofessional she was being. Then around noon a nurse was leaving and another nurse said "noooo! You're leaving us in hell!" quite loudly, to the nurse who was already standing in the hall. Another instance, two nurses were also in this room "treatment room 1" and when the security guard Joey had walked into the room one, holding the door open since he was on duty, a nurse said "oh we were gonna take off our clothes for you!" I had also asked security when I could leave since no nurse bothered to check in on me, or even ask if I wanted food/water. The guard was the one to ask me. He went and asked and never came back but I heard a nurse tell him "tell her i said nooo nooo nooo." Which he responded with "I'll let you tell her that." A little later I asked a nurse when I could leave, she leaned against the door and crossed her arms and said "If i could tell you I'd be a millionare." So I asked for an estimate and she said "Well the liaison has to see about 10 patients in front of you.." Then she just walked away. I then asked if I could use my phone and responded "You'd have to check with your nurse." And walked away again. Near the end of my stay they got a call about an incoming patient and when they hung up one nurse said "great another nut job!" I finally met with the Liaison which we spoke for birefly 10-15 minutes and I was allowed to be discharged. I was their from a little around 10am until 4:30pm. I waited hours to just see someone for a few minutes. The staff are very unprofessional and rude. I've never experienced this type of behavior from staff in a hospital. I'm really disappointed in the lack of care and disgusting attitude of the nurses.
