I went in to open a bank account and was met by unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Although I brought with me all necessary documentation I was turned away as soon as I mentioned the ID I brought with me was an EU passport. I have been living in the UK for almost 10 years and never had so many issues trying to open a bank account! The lady was also very unclear on what documentation I actually needed as apparently a passport and multiple forms of proof of address are not enough. Will definitely be taking my services elsewhere.
