We've had a mortgage with Cascade since 2008. This year we got some insurance quotes and decided to stay with the co we've been with. One of the cos contacted Cascade without our permission, and they paid them out of our escrow acct without bothering to ask us! We didn't want them bc they don't provide the flood insurance our mortgage requires, yet they funded it anyway!? My husband has called numerous times only to get an attitude of Oh well, not our problem and nothing we can do. The ins co ghosted us and we've had to get an attorney to get the $ refunded back to our escrow acct, which we need to fund our ins and taxes so our pymt doesn't go up due to THEIR incompetence.
I needed the amt they paid for my atty, so I called today, and got that famous 'customer service', but that's way too long to put here. I'll just say the negative reviews are spot on. IMO the employees are immature and unprofessional. I can't wait to be done with them and I would live in a van down by the river before I would ever do business with them again. This happened in Feb, It's sep 23. They've made it clear they have no interest in helping us resolve this, nor do they think they did anything wrong.
