My wife wanted a tennis racquet for her upcoming birthday to replace the ones we lost when our house burned down in the bush fires.

I couldn't remember her grip size, or what she actually wanted.

I Googled,. and found Tennis Warehouse Australia whose retail outlet was closed amid COVID-19 so I called.

I hit pay dirt when Alex answered the 'phone. He asked all the right questions - grip size, weight, head shape, strings, and even the colour! - and he provided all the necessary information.

We, yes, Alex and I, decided on what would work best. Then off into the storeroom ... yes, in stock.

He then processed the buy while I was still on the 'phone rather than getting me to do it online.

And yes, free freight. And he threw in the racquet covers.

Oh ... and I bought a racquet for myself.

Alex was fantastic. And on that basis (i.e. leaving aside their great prices and free freight) I would recommend TWA.
