Excellence English for specific purposes program.
My weakness was in writing and fluency speaking skills. I discussed my concerns with Andrew, the Academic Director. In the proficiency way, he could design a program that meets my needs for one month only four days. Practically, he assigned the plan as the following: reading& writing course and workshop as group classes; also, the private classes one to one instructor with my lovely teacher Erika. In the private classes, Erika focused during the two hours on speaking, correcting my essays and giving feedback, teaching advanced grammar and training me for IELTS Academic writing. I was lucky to even the group classes were taught by Erika, too. I like her way when she let us talk about the common topics happen today. In addition, she gave to each student a notebook to write anything: personal, social stories, news etc. , then she collected notebooks each week to correct it. Now I'm much more confident in writing and speaking and I'm ready to apply for the PhD program!
