I am updating my review because I like to be honest and fair. About a week after my post, someone from the office staff reached out to me regarding my experience. They apologized for the misunderstanding and informed I should not have been charged. I really appreciated this because they never mentioned my post as the reason for contacting me. I don't expect people nor businesses to be perfect but I do want excellent customer service and their very best. It's the only true thing that separates the good from the great. We have to learn to genuinely care. They offered me a refund for my emergency exam of $85 not the total which included meds. I will probably continue taking my sweetie to their office (with a bit of caution because I don't her sick again). Thanks VV for making it right.

I am really upset. I would normally give 5 stars because the service is typically great and it is convenient however I was billed $109 because my dog have kennel cough from boarding with them. I think it is extremely unfair that I had to pay for an illness that was contracted after staying at the facility. My dog had up to date vaccines (which they cannot board without). I can understand paying for the meds (which doesn't treat the cough but rather provide comfort) but being charged for the exam is a bit much. Wow! What a rip off.
