I ordered an item on July 5 it is now September 15...

I ordered an item on July 5 it is now September 15 and I have yet to receive my purchase. I sent an email...no reply. Called the store..no answer when I finally got someone to call me back I was advised that since I used a promotion code they have up to 40 business days (T-F) and that I can expect my order no later than sep 9. Sep 9 was 5 days ago, still no email advising of shipping. I believe I have been patient and understanding enough since she the website does give a ridiculous time frame for orders to be completed and shipped but when you go over the date that was promised with no update or apology, it's unacceptable and bad business. I've read a number of reviews from people who have had the same issue. I don't even want the dress anymore. What a shame.
