I was the support person for a young girl who gave birth by C-section at MMC and was giving her child up for adoption. The adoptive family was also present. We were all in one hospital room and since the baby was in the NICU, the adoptive family didn't want to leave... And I don't blame them. Since we were all family, we were trying to figure out how we all of us were going to sleep in one room. One of the nurses overheard us and arranged for the adoptive family to stay in an empty room close to the NICU.
From check in to surgery and everything following, up to when we checked out and the baby came home, the staff made our stay comfortable, happy and awesome. Thank you.
