I usually don't complain or write bad reviews, as I know there will always be problems or issues that arise. But, I felt I should in this case. I spent a weekend there and it does not compare with Harrah's Las Vegas or Ak Chin Phoenix.
The Platinum line for check in took almost 45 minutes to get through. I attribute this to not enough staff or stations during peak check in hours. Some of the guests were told they would have to wait 2 to 3 hours beyond the advertised check in time.
Rooms never cooled down due to design of air vent in the rooms. Elevators were slow and could not handle the number of guests using them. There always seemed to be a line of 15 to 25 people waiting to go up. Going down meant waiting for 2 or 3 elevators to stop, only to find it filled to capacity, then wait on another.
Cocktails were very inconsistent and often watered down. Even when paying at bars. One Lemon Drop would be all juice, the next would be straight alcohol. Facilities were also run down and not as clean as they should be. I observed the same trash/spills in areas during the entire weekend. Never cleaned up or vacuumed.
Some of the staff were friendly and said hello as you passed by, the majority were not. If I didn't know better, and this was my first Harrah's stay, I wouldn't consider staying at any of the others locations. They could really use some "Mystery Guests" to point out the problems since management obviously doesn't see them.
