We recently rented a suite and made dinner reservations for a long awaited date night. My wife and I both ordered Steak ala Russell cooked med-rare.

When the steak arrived it was warm, not hot and cooked well done (very little pink in the middle and mostly gray and dry). 100% obvious that it spent significant time under a heat lamp. When the waiter came to check on us I showed him my steak and politely said "this is not med rare". To my surprise he answered "it happens sometimes" and he walked away and blew my concern off. Not wanting to give our date night a bad vibe I let it go.

We left extremely disappointed. How could the cook let something like this leave the kitchen? How could the waiter just brush off my concern when I'm showing him a warm gray steak? No one cared. No pride in their food. Did not live up to the hype. Not even close.

A few days later I messaged them on Facebook but they never responded.

I called and was told that I would get a call from Russell the following day.

The following day someone did call me and started off the conversation by asking for my address so they could send me a $50 gift card (which I respectively declined).

Why was this not addressed when it was brought up to the waiter? Why was I blown off when I messaged you on Facebook? Why was this not addressed when I had 2 conversations with you? No one cared. No one. What good is $50? That was an insult. Poor quality control. Poor management.

Thank you for everything you do for the community of WNY but fix your broken restaurant.
