10 years and up, my Tilley hat still going strong, no tears or rips, just sweat stains that never came off (my doing). Good quality products that I find are out of the price range of the average Joe. Was surprised to find a hat store in Key West, Florida selling Tilley hats. Their fast drying under clothes are way too expensive. One can find a similar quality fast drying under clothes at Mark's in technology called dri-wear.
