I thought they were a good company. I was on auto pay each month, they called me around Christmas and said they needed to up my monthly fee because I was using more oil than estimated. I told them I couldn't do that, I just didn't have that kind of money at the time. Just recently I decided to take myself off of auto pay because no matter how cheap the price of oil is, my auto payment never decreased. Upon calling I spoke with someone and had the monthly payments stopped as well as the auto deliveries. I was informed at that time that I had over $700 as a credit to my account because I had been paying more than I was actually being charged. I asked to have the money refunded back to me and they said okay, and the woman took down my bank account number to have it refunded to my account. 3 days later I still didn't have the money in my account, so I called again. I was informed that my auto payments were not stopped and that there was no information about a credit refund. So again this person took my information and said that they would refund me and stop the auto payments. 2 more days went by and no refund, I called again. This time I was informed by another rep. that it would come as a check and the check was written that week on Friday, so I would receive quite possibly that day (Monday) because it was mailed. Another 3 days goes by, still no refund check. I called again and this person says that the check was written that Friday and would be sent the next Friday. It has now been over 3 weeks and still no refund! I am beyond livid at this point, there is no reason a company should be able to take my money the same day if needed but take over 3 weeks to refund my money back AND not one person has the same story when I call?! I will be using another oil company this winter, because I do not feel like they are being honest with me.
