This is not a place for worship. Remember that a temple is place where you feel divine and peaceful. When you enter the tunnel the lights are so much like a scary house you feel if you have come to the right place. Once you enter there is a board mentioning about free entry and special entry. There is nothing special about special entry, please avoid paying 250 rupees. Entry ticket is for the suffocating cave. You can take 150 entry ticket, there is not much to walk. Or if you want to have a free dharshan then mention that we have come to see only the statue. Once you start walking in the free entry then there is one more counter where a woman will mention that you need to take ticket. I was firm enough to say I don't need any tickets to see only statue. She passed a lewd statement in Telugu (I know broken Telugu) as I dint want to say anything I passed through the tunnel to see a beautiful big statue. It's wonderfully maintained. We stayed there and clicked few photos and while returning there are woman selling merchandise, please don't say anything. You can pass through it to find small shops and dirty floor (waste food). Please be careful.
