Not bad. The security is very tight. I was supposed to bring more documents than the website told me, so I recommend calling them to make sure you have what you need. Also you're not allowed anything in there except your clothes and documents. No bag or electronics of any type. Place isn't dirty and there is a washroom and water fountain, both clean enough. Staff aren't mean, but firm. They've probably had long days . Also.. they aren't very fast so be prepared to set out about an hour and 30 mins max for the consulate itself. It took them 1 hour for me. Would definitely recommend using the mailing services instead, especially if you live far and the weather is bad.
