I wish I had the time to research the place before going. I went with my husband and 2 little kids. The pens are way too small for the animals. There is no grass or natural looking habitat for the animals. It smelled of something rotten or poop. There was a dead bird in the cage. I really didn't want my son to see that. At one point we passed one of the keepers in a pen with a cat and he was calling it names. My children were right there. Not professional at all. The gift shop smelled of fresh cigarette smoke. That's not good for little ones either. Theres a bunch of propaganda against PETA. Read the reviews and the comments on them. Someone from the zoo replies very hatefully. They call names and just post comments that are not professional. I don't understand why people put that this place is an amazing experience. Any person who loves animals can see that these animals are not happy. Please just educate yourself before you give them your money. Read the reviews and watch the YouTube videos.
