Went to A&E for headaches and fatigue that have lasted two months so far, whilst I didn't really get to the bottom of it all, it felt so refreshing to have a step in the right direction after having to jump through so many loops since covid with local GPs and 111, only to turn up without appointment and get treated in what I consider a prompt manner.
Wish I could remember every nurse and doctors names that helped out in order to sing their praises but my memory is shocking on a good day let alone when tired.
Even during the crazy times we've had all these doctors and nurses continue to work with a reassuring and friendly attitude and accomplish something that most of us couldn't do on a basic day,
Yes waiting times can be long on difficult days but at the end of the day you're in a&e for a reason and waiting times really should be the least of your concerns, you're not exactly waiting because every nurse and doctor is stood around chatting you're waiting because they're providing service after service and are constantly under a bus load of work.
Everything possible was done to cross the 'T's and dot the 'I's and even towards the end was offered another drink and shown where the nearest toilet was.
Once again thank you to every nurse and doctor that had a hand in seeing me today, hopefully these headaches and fatigue go away.
