Lourdes Medical Center of New Jersey has refused my friend to be placed on their Kidney Transplant List!!!!!

He was denied being on the transplant list because they claim he lives too far away! He lives less than 2 hours away!!!!!!!

They were "concerned" he wouldn't be able to do the aftercare after surgery. Meaning doctor's appointments, etc. He explained to them its not a far drive and he could always rent an apartment down there for a few months or rent a room or get a BnB. Every answer was no. He begged "how could you deny someone a life saving transplant just based on the fact that they live 2 hours away. its not fair!!"

Clearly their transplant team doesn't care about saving lives!

This post will be shared publicly in the hopes that others will see it and possibly share it with other social media and news groups. A formal complaint with hospital administration is also being working on.
