The Courts are only doing emergence cases, such as custody or if there is a risk of violence.
They do great work based on the LAW not our emotions or general statistics. They defend everyone's rights, like them or not, and adjudicate over anyone's wrongs. (In general, the child may express themselves but that won't change the laws.)
