If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. I m typing this review as I m still sitting in this god-awful establishment because this had to be said immediately. From the moment I walked into this hotel I felt as if I was indecent. My girlfriend and I drove down from LA to come to a funeral. We arrived at 8pm. The property is dark, few signage to direct you anywhere, and no employees on property. We made our way to valet only to notice that no one was there, and finally seeing a sign that said valet currently unlovable. I proceeded to park in a parking spot I found in order to go inside and ask if someone from bell services could help us with our bags. I went inside and there was only one employee at the desk who was helping another guest. After waiting about 15 minutes to ask for help and check in, the employee rudely told me that there is no valet on weekdays without apologizing for the inconvenience and spoke in the same short, cursory, and patronizing manner when I asked for baggage help. He placed us in a room on the complete opposite side of the property after I told him that I was parked outside. So after driving to our room and getting settled we went to go grab a bite to eat. When we came back to the room my girlfriend attempted to to try and sign into the Netflix app available on the tv. I say this without exaggeration, it took 20 minutes for her to sign into her account due to the fact that the remote kept freezing and lagging whenever you would press any of the buttons. When finally I decided to call front desk the person I spoke with just said sure I ll send an engineer up THEN HUNG UP ON ME. After I let the shock of being spoken to in such a short and discourteous manner I realized that the service at this hotel is atrocious. So I decided to call back and ask for a manger and the same person told me that THERE IS NO MANAGER right now. This hotel claims to be top tier, it proudly displays some 4 diamond award in its lobby. However, this is by far the worst service I ve ever received in any hotel. It s not just what they did do, but it s what they didn t do. For a hotel of this stature you d expect a certain level of service where the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and make you feel like you matter. I don t know if it s because of my race or what it was (the lady checking in before me was white and the guy seemed very friendly with her) but I m never staying in this place ever again and I hope anyone with any amount of pride in themselves and their money will act accordingly.
