I would love to share my experience with you. In hopes that you may never have to experience what I have in last the few weeks. Other than getting my vehicle towed from my complex with a parking pass on it. Having to deal with a 3 third party towing company that uses a cell phone as a way to process out vehicles and not keeping the cell phone charged was just the beginning to a horrible experience. A few days after my vehicle was towed my water heater busted and started leaking. we contacted our emergency mainteience men on 4/25, who basically came out to tell me they couldn't do anything until the next morning on 4/26. I had work early and a 3 year old to take to day care. I was gone until 615pm that night. The mainteince team came and did the install at 8am that next day. ( Griffis Marston Lake never applied for a Permit required by Denver County to do the work.) When I arrived at home my bedroom was flooded with water. Our bedroom shares a wall with the patio where the water heater is located. when i arrived home that night our water wasn't running clear it was yellow and the heat was blowing out cold air. For 2 days I fought with the apartments. Robin the assistant on site manager and Namoni the on site manager took turns telling me that I was basically lying. They sent their men out multiple times to tell me nothing was wrong that the gage on the new water heater was showing it was getting hot water to it. I went into the office to basically force Naomi the complex manager to come to my apartment herself to see for herself that I was not getting heat or clean water. when i arrived at the office a third party company was there to rip up the carpets and clean up the water damage. His associates name was Carlos Rodriguez. He listened to me arguing with Robin pleading and begging them to figure out my problems. He started to ask me questions. I told him everything I knew. He asked if he could see the water heater himself. Carlos used a tool he had that detected heat and confimed it wasnt functing. He also discovered that the copper piping in the bathroom ceiling had a blockage and the copper piping was extremely hot to the touch. He told the maintience man Marc to go get him some supplies. Carlos who had no obligation to the maintenance men or myself decided to drain the copper piping he took two 5 gallon bucks of dirty water out of my bathroom ceiling. He did this until it ran clear. All of this while Namoin the complex manager stood watching. I can tell she was surprised by all this. Carlos then did what he was hired to do and fixed the water damage and install dehumidifiers in our apartment. Even after Carlos proving that my issues were real Namoin didn't even apologize to me there was no humanity in the conservation following that. Carlos however came back after Marc and Naomi left and told me he can guarantee I won't have anymore water or heat issues. I was so thankful for this guy who took the time to listen to me even when I was upset, he not only listened but believed me. That's what ultimately resolved my issues. I asked him for a business card and he gave me one I told him I was going to call his boss and let him know personally how amazing you were. He told me he was the owner. I told him figures you're way too good! He laughed that's when he told me he use to work from your company and he even defended your honor. He told me that Griffis Residental was actually a great company and they really do care. It's extremely hard to believe this statement. When I have faxed emails to your corporate head quarters, called and left messages. With no response and when I did have the pleasure of speaking with Terra Farrester who works at your corporate headquarters she told me she couldn't speak with me because I was too upset and she would call me back in an hour when I calm down, but never did. There is a huge lack of compassion and care in all of your staff members. I do not recommend this apartment company to anyone. The situation we were put in was extremely upsetting and handled horribly.
