On our three week tour of Canada, this was by far the worst accommodation. The website and the price level could definitely hope for better. The building in which our room was located (Bayshore) seemed to be by far the oldest building in the huge hotel complex. The lobby and elevator felt like they had left their best years behind them. Our room was no different. The room was not clean. The armchairs and a pillow were dirty, several long hairs in the bed and in the bath, the floor in the bathroom was dirty and in the air conditioning was a lot of dust and old chips leftovers, so you almost came from the air came out there. When we reported this to the front desk and asked for another room, we could not help because the computer system did not seem to work. On our renewed request for another room we were assured that they would contact us, but nothing happened. When we re-registered after the first night, we apologized and got a $ 100 meal voucher. Otherwise, the food in the "compass" restaurant was delicious and the room was big enough with a nice lake view, but under our door was a 5cm slit through which the light and noise from the hallway into the room could penetrate. It must be said very clearly that the recreational facility at the lake is definitely designed more for families with small children. With the beautiful nature of Canada and the access to the park that unfortunately had little to do.
