I want to address the good before the bad. Excellent facilities, nice environment, majority of patrons adhere to etiquette and everytime I leave I feel great.
The bad; pretentious staff and over priced. It isn't specifically a Leisure link problem but something you find at public pools. The lifeguards develop an authoritarian complex and it seems to influence their behaviour so much so, some of the staff at Leisure link come across pretentious and arrogant. Not a quality you want in an individual who's supposedly looking out for your children's safety.
I'm not speaking for all of my interactions there, some of the staff are absolutely fantastic. Leisure link (waurn ponds) would be a much nicer place if majority of staff would address their unhealthy behaviour.
I also understand they're only human and we all have bad days. Just make a better effort to ensure your service responsilities are fulfilled to the best of your ability, or, seek another profession.
