The saw repair shop pulled a major bummer on my husband, who is a Stihl guy through and through. Low hours on this saw, took it in for a repair and he got told that it was not fixable, offered him a new saw and said they would take it for scrap parts. He took the saw with him, he told me it was fixable but we are cattle ranchers and this is a busy time of year for us. I dropped it off in Cottage Grove, and $90 dollars later it is running perfectly. I am not pleased that a $600 dollar or so saw was almost stolen from us. Maybe this was not usual, but I won t be back.
