The only complaint I have is more of a general complaint for the sport of skiing in general; it is very expensive. A standard lift ticket for one day is $125 right now, and if you don't have equipment, rentals cost quite a bit as well. However if you can afford to go skiing and you live in lower New England, Stratton is one of the best mountains you can ski at. They have some of the best snow making and grooming capabilities, combined with a diverse selection of trails to choose from. The glades are some of the best out there. It's the one thing I prefer about skiing the east coast, as west coast forests are not nearly as dense as the east coast. If you are looking for a mountain that suits everyone's needs and ski levels, Stratton is a great choice.
