Your standard Courtyard by Marriott set apart by friendly staff and a full bar, but paper thin walls could mar an otherwise perfect stay.

Stayed overnight for a friend's wedding and was pleasantly surprised at this Courtyard (I'm a veteran road warrior and swear by Marriott's properties, though Courtyards are not my first choice). Valet parking, well stocked and well priced full bar in the lobby, plus friendly and inviting staff made arrival a breeze.

The room was nothing spectacular and got the job done, overlooking cute and historic downtown Fredericksburg. TV was a bit smallish and if I was staying longer, it would've made watching anything difficult. Bath water took a really long time to get hot, but I'm sure it had more to do with it being a packed hotel than anything else.

We were woken up the next day by a neighbor next door playing his TV way too loud for a Sunday morning. Again, we weren't staying long enough to complain, but we were able to hear everything happening on the television.

If I happen to be in Fredericksburg again, I'd very much stay here. Choices for other lodgin gmight be slim, but this isn't a bad first option.
