They charge you too much for the special entry where they give you 108 rudraksh to put in 108 boxes and a special milk pooja you can do on the linga by yourself, dhoop, floating your diya on the pond. And you get to see all the linga across India in small installations, signifying each major shiva temples in a miniature setup inside the cave like structure. All of these does not even matter. The main selling point of the place is it's serene tall and big statue of shiva in a yogic pose. Personally, I feel so relaxed and calmed visiting him and sitting before his magnetic form. At 6 they show the Arthi and let you participate by giving each person an Arthi diya. If you choose to not pay the entry fees and just visit the temple, they let you through another entrance where you can see only shiva and meditate or pray.. The sad thing about this place is commercialisation. You can't even meditate in peace as there are people taking selfies in almost every spot, and that gets annoying. They also have singers come by which is irritating as it does not go well with your meditative mind. Best to visit on weekdays as it is more silent.
