The whole experience seemed chaotic. First we were called down to surgery - WITH 3 OTHER FAMILIES! We saw the rooms and centers that the others went in as we were last. It was a complete fail in terms of privacy for everyone who was placed prior to us - IMO. Once in our room the staff seemed very chaotic. The nurse talked constantly, like in an annoying way. Just give us some space, right? Ultimately the surgery went well, but based on my experience here I would ASSUME they have more issues than other places. If my ASSUMPTION is wrong, then they should train there staff to be more professional.

And no reasonable waiting area. I was stuck in the triage room for 2.5 hours. They wouldn't let me go see my wife in the post-op area. The room didn't have a door and I could hear much of the conversations that the staff was having with other patients. I could leave the area and come right back in, with no access restrictions - not safe. Not conducive to privacy.

Additonally, for good reason people aren't allowed to eat prior to surgery. They allowed these really rude people to bring in hamburgers and fries while they waited. And eat the food in the recovery area! It made my wife feel so hungry to constantly smell the food while she was trying to recover enough to leave and get lunch herself. SO RUDE!!! And the fact they allowed these people to eat lunch IN TRIAGE AREA is rude and unprofessional.
