These people are polite, but I have never had worse service in my life! After moving out I expected to get my security deposit (a mere $150) back in a timely manner- it ended up taking at least six phone calls, three emails, and SEVEN WEEKS to get my money back (which is ILLEGAL!!). They didn't even make a serious attempt at returning my money until I started asking for double under CA's bad faith laws for tenants, after which they resolved the problem in just a couple hours! Every time I called they claimed the money was "in the system", "on its way", "released to my account", or some other useless phrase. They claimed the delay was due to a "hold" on my account (even though my account was clear except for the money I was owed), and punished me for their own incompetence by ILLEGALLY holding my security deposit for more than TWICE the time allowed by law to return the money. Live elsewhere, or prepare to potentially spend months trying to get back the money they owe you!
