I don't have a handicap, I don't consider myself a scratch golfer. I have played this course more than enough times to know that if I want to relax or talk business I need to play at Congressional. I learned my game under the eyes of Maryland Golf Professional Bobby Bilbo. This course just might be difficult for the novice and those afternoon men's club that tipped a few too many (BAC 1.4) or those that Wilson or Spaulding 3-5-7-9 means a full bag of sticks and a cart is needed. I can shoot 3 under using just my 4 iron. I can't imagine what the greens would be like if they actually resembled one. I guess practicing on pitted concrete sidewalks does come in handy once in a while. I put my oil can wedges to the test here, that is if the grass isn't too long.
