Review of Imagination Station

We visited Imagination Station for the first time ...

We visited Imagination Station for the first time today. Overall we enjoyed our visit but I do want to make note that one review suggested bring your own food and also on TripAdvisor many people stated they brought a packed lunch and it was no issue. Based on this we took a packed lunch for our family of 5. Upon entering there is a sign that states all food and beverage must be enjoyed in the cafe. We took our lunch to the cafe, it wasn't busy and the employee literally watched as we unpacked our food and began to eat. About halfway through our lunch she approached us and told us that no outside food or beverage is allowed and we would need to take our lunch to the corridor that attaches to the parking garage. I have no issue with there being a "no outside food" policy, however, it is not posted anywhere and the sign at the entrance only states that food must be taken to the cafe it does not say that any food must be purchased there. Also, the fact that the employee watched us unpack food for 5 people and waited until we had already started eating to approach us did not sit well with me. I had to take food away fron our hungry 2 year old which resulted in crying. I would have much preferred if she had stopped us immediately instead of watching and walking by us multiple times before saying anything. So please be aware that even though many people posted that they took a packed lunch without an issue, this is not always the case.
