I really liked this museum a lot more when I was a kid, but returning as an adult, I saw that many of the artifacts on display are actually replicas, which is not what I d expect from a museum of this stature. When I visited, the gems & minerals exhibit was being reformed, unfortunately, and may be closed for multiple years. Also many of the older exhibit cases were poorly lit and many of the stuffed animals looked like they could use a dusting.
It s still worth bringing the little ones to spark their curiosity.
