I had a great time on my 4-day Uluru Tour (Ayers Rock to Ayers Rock) with Ken.
While I had to get used to the whole camping experience (the sleeping bags consist of a thin mattress with a rather stiff sack around it that loads of other people slept in before as well as everything being dusty), it was well worth it:
Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon were equally amazing. Ken gave us a lot of interesting background information.
We were 19 people on the 1st day (age 19-around 60), 12 up until noon on the 2nd day and only 10 for the rest of the tour and really bonded as a group which made the experience even nicer.
I can highly recommend this tour.
Just make sure to read the itinerary before you book as it is a camping (not a glamping ) trip, including the collection of fire wood for dinner on the 2nd day, lots of time on the bus (especially the 6 hour drive back to Ayers Rock from Alice Springs) and cleaning up after yourself (washing dishes and setting up your sleeping bag).
