I wish I could give them a 0. I had been making monthly payment to the over the course of about two years. When I finally paid them off I requested a letter to be sent stating that I was paid in full. The lady was a little hesitant to send me that. I'm not sure why. about a year goes by and I'm trying to buy a car. I notice that it's reflection on my credit report still open in collection. Long story short, even after disputing it, it's still reflecting on my credit report. I call the agency that it showing on my credit report and they say that they show NO payment history from me. I explained the situation and said I had paid that off through a third party collection agency two years ago! He said that they had not contacted them with any form of payment. I have printed off every statement with proof of payment of it for two years and I'm prepared to send it in. I'm waiting to get off of work so that I can give Powers Friedman & Linn a piece of my mind!
