The Sharjah Health Authority is working on establishing and developing the (Sharjah Health Care City) project and its management, as well as the Sharjah Health Authority supervising the Health Insurance Department, which provides health insurance for all employees and retirees of the Sharjah government and beneficiaries of the health card, and in the process of establishing the Health Regulation Department in addition to supervision and follow-up Sharjah Health City Program of the World Health Organization to ensure sustainability of the program. It also has an important role in participating with the Ministry of Health and health authorities in developing health strategies and policies in the country.
