I have been with Service America for approximately...

I have been with Service America for approximately 10 years. The technicians have always been professional and courteous and although every appliance service call requires 2 visits, I felt that the service was worthwhile... until yesterday. A service tech named James came into my house to repair my microwave. A plastic piece had broken off the door compromising the seal on the unit. James told me immediately that this was a cosmetic issue and not covered by Service America. I told him that the door is coming apart and I am afraid to use the appliance but he repeated it is cosmetic and asked me if I had taken the door apart. I told him that I do not tinker with appliances and he said there is nothing that SA can do and asked me for my copay. I told him I would not give him the copay for a job in which he has not even offered to call the parts department to inquire about cost and availability of replacement parts (I had paid for replacement parts for my refrigerator recently.). He then became quite agitated and I had to tell him to leave my home. I was genuinely afraid of him at that point. I do not plan on renewing my Service America contract following this incident.
