A great interactive park. For younger children (<5) the indoor play area is phenomenal, the new treetop outpost is great fun, and the kiddos love getting to pet the animals at the animal encounters barn. For the big kids there is plenty of beautiful scenery, nice trails to walk, and a great deal of history to learn.

Only major issue is their "special events" where they either have a massive amount of field trips or a free day for a specific group. However this CAN be a really big problem. Were these days advertised a little better on their website then it would advise members or one time visitors to pick another day, but often they seem to pop up randomly without any notice. If you have driven a good distance to visit then you are unlikely to turn around and just go find something else to do, but similarly the crowd of often poorly chaperoned children will discourage you from staying too long (especially if you have little ones).
