That, or our business isn't important enough
One of our contract manufacturer's uses a Foster product in one of our assemblies.
Order to the CM has been in place since May/2018, subsequently from the CM to Foster soon after.
Our CM is now being told by Foster that they are exceeding production capacity, that they don't have enough employees to keep the business!?!?
Good for them, but they can't tell us this until four months later, really?
This is a CSA listed assembly, and we have no choice but to use the Foster part to retain the CSA certification, a VERY important detail in my industry.
Changing to another manufacturer is a long, painful, expensive process with CSA, and we would have had to begun this several months ago to fit our needs.
