My son has been doing FLVS for the past three year...

My son has been doing FLVS for the past three years and absolutely loves it. The teachers, for the most part, have all been encouraging and positive! They have always been prompt not only with feedback but grades as well. I wish there were more electives available for homeschooled students; but the teachers are wonderful!
Mrs. Ostrander is an asset to FLVS and education as a whole. She is very supportive and encouraging, and this is so important especially to students who struggle or try and take the lazy way out. Her inspiring words have helped my son focus on his strengths and to understand that his weakness is an oppotunity to learn, not that it is a failure.
I am so glad that FLVS provides outstanding teachers like her to the online students.
I cannot thank her enough for her optimism and her love of teaching (especially 8th graders!) that reflects in her communications with them.
She is truly amazing!
