There is a beautiful collection of boulders on the Eastern side of the park that is a great spot for rock climbing, and also a series of trails that winds through a variety of ecosystems that is a pleasant hike.
The only downside is that the main park entrance does not allow dogs, which is kinda annoying... I am not really sure why the dog ban is in place, because you can still bring dogs in via the trails leading into the park, just not via the main road.
