We called the hotel before booking our stay. The receptionist assured us they were complying by the mandatory mask order in Colorado. 60% of the people in the hotel were either not wearing a mask or wearing it below their chin. When I called the front desk to ask who was enforcing the order she said security. The security guard was wearing her mask below her nose and clearly not enforcing anything. We found the front desk folks rude and not helpful. The pool was supposed to open at 9 a.m. we arrived a few minutes early hoping to be able to get a spot distanced from others. A couple arrived behind us neither wearing masks. We stood for 15 minutes and made two calls to the front desk before the security guard with her mask below her nose showed up. We did not feel safe and will not be back.
