I see why the raiting is so low. We, the company I work for had a load brokered to us. Well our driver was delayed due to a previous customer so our SOP is to contact the actual shipper and get more time on the load so that's exactly what I did and I was even able to get another driver to cover the pick up in California and drop the load at BNSF. Well somewhere along the line, some broker called our account rep asking who changed the appointment window and I said, "I did" I'm following our SOP so our account rep says "oh ok" the broker now wants to talk to who changed the appointment so I said sure. Well 30 minutes later the broker calls our account rep who then contacts us in operations that the load is cancelled because she is upset. It's not like we said we weren't going to pick up the load we just contacted the shipper ourselves to let them know we would have a driver there by 1330. Keep your freight, you are lucky we even took your freight especially on a day where all of our boxes where about 40 miles away. Working with a company that has over 50k boxes and our market averaging about 1200 loads per day we are ok. We have our ups and downs, that's business. For a broker to have a piss pour attitude like a child is very unprofessional. Good luck to you all.
