Washington Health Benefit Exchange (WAHBEX) is not an employer of choice. The public needs to understand when you apply for employment with WAHBEX, be prepared to face a lack of transparency, and integrity with their recruitment process.

I had interviewed for their Compliance Manager position, and one other management position. After three interviews, I was left hanging bucket empty with no opportunity, and no hope for advancement. Their Human Resources representative could not even schedule my virtual interview correctly on the appropriate date. I was notified at one point in the interview process that I did not get the management position, but their Human Resources shared the hiring manager for their Compliance Manager had been inquiring about my references for her vacancy.

After two interviews over a three-week period, multiple emails with their Human Resources, the second week waiting it was clear WAHBEX was playing games. I had contacted my reference on the application, and they informed me they had not received any calls or emails from WAHBEX. At this point, I completely withdrew from the process, disappointed by their operations, and felt played .

Bottom line if you have any leadership background, clinical background, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere than WAHBEX. Position yourself as someone who does have integrity regarding your career.
